Best way to see Zack's teeth
In the swing! I got a good look at the top one too, but couldn't get a photo. But there is definitely only one.

Baby food packets
Zack continues to be ambivalent about solid food---but not, apparently about the packaging---this morning, when we passed the baby food packet display in a store we don't usually shop in, he laughed and kicked and flapped and reached. Hopefully that means that we've managed to make eating fun, if not delicious. I think this strawberry apple mix is, actually, delicious, but Zack doesn't agree. He wouldn't take any last night, and only a couple bites just now.

Toys
Here's a fun article about toys:
And this was my list of Zack's current favorite toys---for anyone who follows Zack's blog, this list will be old news, I wrote it for facebook:
1. His parents, especially the inside of his dad's mouth, but also his mom's belly button, which for some reason makes him laugh and laugh.
2. The cat, though this is mostly a one-sided game of tag.
3. The dishwasher, and assorted included kitchen implements, but especially the dishwasher drawer itself---also the inside of the refrigerator, but that is pretty much off limits, so I don't think it counts.
4. Assorted iDevices, including iPhones, MacBooks, and the iMac (this is where his list gets a lot more expensive than the Wired list) and the silicon iPhone cover, which is the standard consolation prize, and, for Zack, still an integral component of the iPhone.
5. The Aeron desk chair, and all the furniture, really, but especially the Aeron chair because it articulates in so many ways.
6. Metal fixtures and implements of all kinds, hinges, screw heads, door knobs, elevator buttons, zippers, and, of course, keys!
7. Books---he actually really enjoys being read to, will sit through a dozen books, and reads to himself for extended periods of 3 minutes and more.
8. Paper recycling, and cardboard boxes, but especially paper, good for destroying---so far he rips up magazines on sight but hasn't ripped a book yet---I don't know how he knows the difference. I guess it helps that most of his books are board books.
9. A $2 set of stacking plastic cups: in and out and in and out and in and out, etc.
10. Mirrors---these were a lot more interesting a couple months ago, but they are still great favorites---CDs are fun in part because they are mirrored on one side.

CD
This CD is fascinating on many levels: it has a mirror on one side and bright colors on the other, it has a very interesting hole in the middle, and it turns over and over so nicely. It was good for more than 15 minutes' focused attention. It is also playing in the background (the wonders of modern technology.)
The first few seconds are representative of the whole minute and a half of video.

Teeth
I just realized that one of Zack's top teeth had broken through, because I could hear him grinding them (!) So now I can feel three teeth, two on the bottom and one on the top, though I still can't see any. And I better understand the faces he's been making with his jaw thrust forward, and the copious amounts of drool we've had these last couple days.

Stairs:
Lots of little holes!
Up so high!
What, mom? Why do you always want me to look at the camera?
Look at these leaves:
Tearing the leaves:
Yelling about the leaves:
Train structure:
Pigeons!
Trying to decide if it's worth it to chase the pigeons:
