Two days ago, Alex was wiring in the attic and stuck his hand through a hole in the ceiling for a light fixture, and the disembodied hand really spooked Zack. He's been talking about it periodically ever since. Here he is telling how it happened.
Puzzles have been a very big deal lately. Zack has done this puzzle (with decreasing amounts of help) dozens of times this trip. He just did it four times in a row this morning. He asks himself, "Where does this piece go?" And then he answers himself, "Oh, it goes right there, you're ab-so-lute-ly right!"
With Ben, Melissa, Greg, Sarah, Dustin, Mom, and Dad. Zack climbed many dunes (while chanting, "climb, climb, climb") and made and destroyed many sandcastles (while singing "London Bridge is Knocking Down.") The weather was misty and still and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves.
