I just came out of the package room with out any packages and Zack said, "No us." I think I usually say "Not for us," and he remembers.

Zack at dinner

Waiting outside before the food came.


Zack walked about 8 blocks on the way home, inspecting all the parking meters, subway grates, cellar doors, door stops, and ATMs. There was also a very exciting pay phone. Then we saw an out-of-service bus and Zack waved to the driver, and the bus picked us up and took us home! And the driver gave Zack a transfer, which was so exciting. Zack used it to "pay."

Zack and his lunchbox

Cheese, bread, cucumber, chicken, grapes. He seems to be grown up enough that I can trust him not to dump these little dishes out or throw them on the floor. He's had several meals out of them now. This is how he'll take food to pre-school.
