Failed breakfast

For the last couple days, Zack has spit out all solid food we've tried to feed him. He likes his chair, and he likes his bowl and spoon and his bibs, and he's interested in the whole process---he just doesn't like the food. He opens his mouth to eat it, and then he makes horrible faces and gags and spits it out. Today was mashed banana and a little plain apple sauce, warmed. None ended up inside the baby. Next to try is plain, bland cereal. I found a flaked oatmeal with no additives to try later today.
