Old Mill Park in Mill Valley

Two days ago. This 9-year-old boy named Armand really wanted to involve Zack in his chasing and fighting games (pirates and zombies mostly,) and was really very sweet and gentle, and Zack really wanted to play with him, but Zack really had no interest in fighting games. They had a lot of fun playing chase for a few minutes, but then the boy tried to teach Zack to swordfight with sticks, but Zack said, "No, no, that game is too scary!" So we went to look at the creek, and then Zack saw a girl in a pink tutu and said, "I'm going to go say hi to the princess." It turns out he is more interested in princesses than in swordfighting. The princess was not nearly as interested in a younger admirer as Armand was, but she said "Hi" back politely enough. And then we went to the bookstore, where Zack discovered graphic novels.
