More independence!

Zack spent the whole of last night in his own bed, with 2 ten minute nursings. It turns out he can do a surprising amount of tossing and turning and not wake himself up---and when he's in his own bed it usually doesn't wake me up either.

Zack turning into an easy baby?

Zack put himself down for the night for the second time this week---he plays himself to sleep. He's so independent all of a sudden. I've been getting all kinds of chores done---I cooked a real dinner tonight, instead of the shortcut dinners I'd been cooking. And I did laundry and dishes and cleaned and swept---it's very exciting. I still haven't sorted through all the Nikon photos from CA, but I put them all on my computer today, so they'll be up soon.

Big changes

This baby has gone from being very clingy to very independent almost overnight. Before we went to CA he spent maybe 30 minutes a day, in 5-10 minute chunks, by himself and not being held, and when we put him down he'd cry. So far this morning in the 4 hours since we woke up, he's spent maybe 10-15 minutes being held, and for a few of those he was clearly asking to be put down so he could play with his toys.
