There was a tree crew working next to the park the other day and since then Zack has been practicing saying "chainsaw."

"Read, read, read!" Zack says this all the time. Just like his mom used to do. Here he is wondering why I am still messing with the camera instead of read, read, reading.

Out for the night

Zack's sleep schedule has been slowly settling into one nap in the middle of the day of around 2 hours, and a 6 or 7am wake up and 8 or 9pm bedtime. He doesn't get as much sleep as many babies, but he doesn't generally seem tired and he's almost never cranky and he seems to be growing fine, so I am not going to fight with him about sleeping more. But at this point, he sleeps only barely more than I do.

Park

We were the first people at this park and Zack was excited to play with BOTH little cars. He kept going back and forth from one to the other, vroom-vrooming and beep-beeping. He also mastered the little arch bridge for the first time, following this little Russian boy. The Russian boy was collecting tiny sticks and Zack was finding them and giving them to him.

Brooklyn Bridge Park

These guys spin like little merry-go-rounds. Zack liked to find their eyes and mouths, and after he saw some bigger kids spinning, he liked to try to spin too.
