We've pretty much surrendered the drawer under the stove to Zack.

Little cold

Zack has a little cold. So far the congestion is mostly in one nostril, but he couldn't nurse to sleep as he's used to, so last night involved more work on my part than I'm used to. But other than the stuffy nose, he seems to feel fine.

Recent developments

Zack started really babbling yesterday, saying "mamamamababababadadada," as well as his usual "aaah" and "owow," and raspberries. He'd babbled before but only while angry and crying, now he's just playing with sound. Also, in the last week, he's consolidated from 4 naps to 3 or even 2. Today we are adjusting to daylight savings---he was acting like going down for the night at 5:30 but I encouraged him to wake up all the way when his dad came home an hour later. Here's a tired Zack:
