Naps

So far we've timed it so that Zack has slept for all the car rides, so very little fussing about being strapped in. On the way back to Tomales yesterday:

Second cousin Dylan!

Dylan was so happy about playing with his cousins. Zack here was more interested in playing with Dylan's toy. Both babies were teething---Zack has three molars that have just cut through.

Wooden farm animals

Zack was excited when he saw these. He said "Mmmm" for the cow (which is what I always say for cows, because that is what cows say,) and he said "E I E I" (he thought this looked like Old Mac Donald's farm, he just doesn't say O yet,) and he said "shut" when he opened and shut the gate on the barn. This is the first time I've seen him play make believe with animal figures, making them walk around and make animal noises. He's done it with trucks and cars but never animals before. It was very fun to watch.
