Doctor yesterday

Yesterday, Zack got his 6 month shots. It went fairly well, small fever in the afternoon, a lot of sleeping, but almost no fussing. He even recovered sufficiently to have a nice dinner with his great aunt Ingrid in Park Slope. He is now 18lbs, and healthy. The doctor was impressed with his sitting-up skills, with his almost-crawling, and with the "twinkle in his eyes." In the waiting room he ate his dad's shoelaces and talked to the 2 1/2 year old who you can see in the corner. In the exam room, he wasted a lot of paper, and was very happy about it. The paper is his favorite part of the doctor's office.
